Hi, everyone! I am in love with my Welcome Home sign. and it’s simple message. I loved it so much I had it stashed in a closet until I could find the perfect location. Does anyone do this?
welcome home sign
My only short term issue was the sign didn’t arrive with a hook on the back of the frame. Okay, this is not earth-shattering, but I was nervous a hammer might break the entire sign. So I took the easy way out and propped it on the mantel after this project.
The sign has not moved.
This sign is positioned so when anyone walks into the room their eyes move towards the sign (and away from the dust, remotes, empty Gatorade bottles and random straws on this amazing coffee table.
This mantel is a work in progress. Our long term plan is somewhere from refacing it with stone to relocating the fireplace to another wall to create a dual sided fireplace. One option is way more expensive.
I love the font in this sign. And, that period at the end…. it just says it all. Right? And, the wood stained frame motivated me to update my favorite DIY chalkboard project from a few years ago.
I ordered it last fall and I think I found it here. But these farmhouse inspired frames can be found everywhere. Etsy is usually my destination for fun, made in the USA products. There’s also this placed called Print It Engineer. I have not ordered prints from here, but I have it bookmarked for the future. Thanks for stopping by today! If you have any great places to find framed art please leave a comment!
