See what I did there? I turned my weekly “Week-End series and made it a verb! When the week- end turns into weekending. Today the weekending is all about Valentine’s Day. But, first was anyone a fan of the television show Frasier?
I was sad to learn the patriarch of the show, Martin Crane, played by John Mahoney, passed away this week. My dad and sister love this show and even today we share our favorite episodes with each other and we all watch the syndicated show. I loved his rough, former cop attitude next to his uptight, psychiatrist sons who could volley back words and phrases with such wit. And, never uttering a crass phrase. I gave him and Eddie a shout out on my Instagram earlier this week.
Do you have a favorite episode?
Weekending | Valentine’s Week
Okay, so Valentine’s Day is next week. How did this happen? I am not a fan of spending $5.00 on a card. If you are looking for a few ideas for Valentine quotes check out this list. There is still time to incorporate one into a card or craft.
Or looking for something all ready to print.. check these out here.
I saw these printables on The Kitchen on the Food Network. You can snag some fun printables here.
Here’s a favorite quote of mine I found on a dish towel on sale at Williams-Sonoma.
Speaking of labels…
I love to pick my wine based on the label. Who else does this? But, if you want to up your game this Valentine’s Day with wine and chocolate pairing, this image is a cheat sheet on how to pair chocolate and wine.
My friends always seem to bring a bottle of Chloe. I think it has something to do with this “little” one who shares the same name.
Thanks for stopping by for a weekending of Valentine’s Day ideas.
