If you just believe… in the magic of the season… or the promise of the new year… or in yourself, children….. I love this message and the font that comes with this holiday wreath. Look at the image above, how many words can you find from the word believe?
That’s a little quirk of mine; looking for words tucked inside words.
I made this believe sign with my Silhouette. For other vinyl options check the clearance sections at Michael’s and Hobby Lobby for templates, stencils and stickers.
The sign is the perfect size and surface for vinyl or stickers. Guess what I used to make this holiday wreath?
Upcycled Shutter Slat |
A shutter slat. A what? A shutter slat…A few years ago, I found a stack of shutter slats stored inside a storage cabinet in the garage. Funny thing, I have yet to replace any shutter slats. It turns out these slats make an amazing primed and painted surface for vinyl and other crafty projects. I used shutter slats before in a sign for the yard’s side gate.
Here’s my very easy holiday wreath I made for the season. I may just keep it up through Valentine’s Day…
For this holiday wreath I used a grapevine wreath and berry garland as the base. Combining grapevine and garland makes a beautiful wreath. To make it pretty for the holidays I upcycled a shutter slat for the center message. I had this vinyl believe sign from an earlier project.
Whatever you do just believe.
