It’s Friday! Spring break came early this morning in Denver with a snow day for my boys! We leave for warmer weather in a few days so I am pulling together my pack list. We are in much need of the slushy snow so it’s hard to complain. It’s suppose to be in the 50’s and sunny by noon today!
flipping for flip flops
One of the must haves on my pack list was a pair of flip flops. Our Berner (the breed not the politician) has a thing for shoes or in this case my flip flops. I found my favorite Okabashi flip flops outside our bedroom last week. I think she was irritated her daddy didn’t walk her last week when spring colds hit our family fast and furious.
With spring break a few days away I had to order a new pair. My son’s high school tennis coach turned me on to this brand a few years ago. Okabashi makes reasonably priced flip flops.
made in the USA
And, the best part (for me) is this company makes their flip flops in the United States.More and more, I look for the Made in the USA label or sticker. So much of what I buy is made in China so when I can find a brand I love that makes a commitment to manufacturing in the States, I want to support them.
Okabashi flips flops are reasonably priced and they offer additional discounts when you buy more than one pair…
After I purchased this cute pattern, I ordered a second pair of flip flops in solid black. These are great for the pool to give me a little lift in the heel. The high arches are nice too for someone who tends to wear running shoes or a slight heel. They don’t win awards for fashion, but they are great for pool, post gym workouts or hauling out the garbage cans!
I love these low maintenance shoes. As I read this it sounds like a product endorsement; there’s no motivation for me other than to give a shout out to a US based manufacturing company that flips for flip flops! #okabashi
