Hey everyone! We are back from a Spring Break trip to Arizona. We left just as the Final Four fans were rolling into town. I will share more on that quick trip later, but today it’s all about the herbs in the ‘burbs.
Or as I like to call it container gardening. And, I love to find ways to use my multi purpose tray from my favorite online decor site.
I snagged a few herbs from Sprouts and grabbed a bag of fresh garden soil to get these herbs started. Denver was tricked into thinking it was Spring when I planted these herbs. But, when I knew we might get snow while we were away I brought this tray inside and made it my centerpiece for our kitchen table. I love how the green pops against the black table.
I loaded my planter with mint and rosemary. But, I have a small issue… I can’t remember which herb is in the middle in the photo below. Oregano? Or there’s another one… Please help me in the comments.
I bought the plants with the intent to make cute markers and then I misplaced the name tags from the original packaging. And, I always think I will remember which herb is what…..but, I am clueless. So I have to ask what’s in the lower, center of the image below?
I do know my rosemary…but this one I have trouble with too. Anyone know the secret to growing Rosemary.
What are your favorite herbs? Oh and here’s a list from BH&G on easy herbsto grow.
