Hi, everyone! There is talk about snow in the Colorado mountains. And, with the cooler morning temps, this time of year signals the end of the garage sale season. Let’s take a minute…
For me, this is when I revisit my stash of garage sale finds for winter long projects. And, these pumpkins were first on my list.
I purchased these ceramic pumpkins from a girlfriend’s garage sale and share my plans to update the garage sale pumpkins. I love this friend, but I don’t think she has ever purchased a can of spray paint. This is one of five different shaped, orangish, gold and brown pumpkins.

I created an assembly line of the pumpkins in the garage (with the garage door open) and grabbed a can of flat white spray paint. One of the details of the pumpkins I wanted to keep, was the leaves. Because the leaves were attached with wire it was easy to pull them away from the base out of the line of the spray paint.
Within minutes I had crisp, white pumpkins and welcomed them to their forever home. Now, we know bloggers know the power of spray paint….
But, I have friends who think I am a genius because I use spray paint to change the look of just about anything. If it ain’t moving, I paint it!
