I love lighting, but I don’t love to shop for lamps. There are too many details like height, width, and lamp shades. It’s too much. This is where the internet jumps in to make the search easier. My first stop, in my pajamas and in front of my tablet, was Pottery Barn. It’s my destination for inspiration and beautiful tablescapes. And, it’s where I found a Pottery Barn lamp that was perfect for the family room. It kind of feels like I am cheating on Pottery Barn, but not really because I do contribute to Pottery Barn’s quarterly sales.
My first search for lamps landed me in front of these lamps online. I found them on Pottery Barn’s site. I loved the look with the clear and sturdy base. My only issue was the price and I did find a Pottery Barn table lantern (on sale) that I loved. I could not justify buying three lamps at those prices in one click. I needed to pace my spending.
I took my search to Wayfair and found this lamp for 1/2 the price. The reviews were great too! The good news is the lamp is on sale. The bad news; it’s currently out of stock here.
Sidenote: I signed up for a “back in stock” alert.
