We have a boundary issue with our Bernese Mountain dog. It’s not her fault; we thought she would outgrow her fondness for every bed in our house, but her own. At four years old, it’s going to be a challenge to entice her with her own, big girl bed. It’s not like I haven’t tried to find her a comfy, down filled, extra large dog bed. But, she always opts for the larger, elevated bed. So much for the no dogs on the bed rule. Maybe if Chloe has a choice of dog beds…
My absolutely favorite dog bed is sadly no longer available. I found it a few years ago when Chloe was a puppy. It was a Pottery Barn outdoor dog bed with canopy. I knew my husband was not going to be on board with this dog bed, despite it matching our outdoor patio cushions perfectly. And for a nanosecond, I thought we could make our own version of the Pottery Barn dog bed.
Here’s a collection of fun dog bed finds. Does your dog sleep in his/her own dog bed? Share your favorite pic or a source for dog beds in the comments, please!
Starting with this one. How cute is this dog house?
This Pottery Barn dog bed is a little fancy for our house, but I love the elevated bed and the stained handrail or maybe it’s a paw rail?
I love the look of the outback country lodge dog house. The roof and the wood siding looks like it is made for ruff winters.
If I won the lottery and lived in a cottage, I might buy something like this Cape Cod-inspired cozy cottage.
Here’s another Pottery Barn favorite that might be a more practical dog bed. It reminds me of a trundle bed.
