I am addicted to lists, coffee, Sharpies, running and my blog. I am not content doing one thing. I manage a manufacturing company, I am a licensed real estate agent and I love all things DIY on a budget!

I started a blog before I knew if a blog was an adjective or a noun. Turns out it is also a verb. My blog started on my couch while watching reruns of Friends. It was and remains today to be a virtual diary chronicling our DIY updates of our “brownstone in the woods” outside of Denver. My posts include frugal ideas, paint successes and misses and my Instagram feed chronicles my obsession with our Bernese Mountain dog.

My daily goals include: break a sweat, learn a new skill, embarrass my kids, do not break any traffic rules, be kind to a stranger and create a home that brings comfort and laughs!

I love to drive my {first} husband crazy with random texts like, “Hey, where is the master water shut off valve?” Or, “Do we own a pickaxe?”

My motto is: Humor is the best offense… or is it defense?
