I posted this fail on my burlap bulletin board last week. It is a great example of the fallout when one chooses to do something half-ass. In an attempt to get this project posted I used a permanent marker- gasp! The fallout- NO COMMENTS!!!!
With my daughter returning from college and the anticipated eye roll I was freaking out on this error in judgement. She scares me a little!
The ampersand template I used was created by the staff at the printing department at OfficeMax. I chose the font, emailed it to them in a word document and they increased the image and printed it. Cheap and Easy. I didn’t have to waste time or ink trying to enlarge the image. I used a pair of scissors to cut out the template. I chose the font from a huge list they emailed me. I printed several letters. Here is the template before I cut it:
Here is the board: Well it turns out that there is a cure for being lazy! Just do it! So I removed the bulletin board, got out the black paint and a small brush. Imagine!

I totally want to make something like this for my family room! It needs some revamping.
Much better! I have a hundred…nay…several hundred…projects in different stages of “undoneness”–waiting until I retire.
