DIY Wicker Chair Update

Our front porch faces south and in Colorado that  means sun, sun and more sun.  So wicker furniture gets weathered very quickly.  Kinda like our skin without sunscreen!

I have seen other blog projects on spray painting wicker. I was a little skeptical because there are so many details in anything with the word wicker. It’s like covering gray roots… there is always one that gets completely overlooked and it’s the only thing you see!

Here’s the World Market version for $59.99 {sale price}:

And, my version for the price of a can of spray paint from Home Depot. I went with green as a spring, summer and maybe Halloween color???

Really turned out cute! The color is bright and cheery. I have spray painted wicker before. You have to be patient to get it covered well, but it works! Thanks for sharing with SYC. I’m sure it’s not intentional, but I’m not seeing a link back to the party.

I love the color! I spray painted almost a identical wicker chair for my daughter. I worried too how it would turn out. But like you I loved it, and was pleasantly surprised it worked.
