August! It’s crazy how quickly August arrives after the 4th of July holiday. I was at Kroger the other day and saw decorative pumpkins. Crazy! So I am jumping on the back to school bus with a few of my favorite cooking gadget finds. Because, as moms, we can all look ahead at how important it is that our kids return to school to be their best selves. And, to help me with this difficult transition I love to look at a few favorite finds to ease me into this transition. I am a bit of a gadget/dish fanatic. I love a coffee mug, seasonal salad plates, a kitchen gadget… I love the promise a new kitchen accessory or dish gives me. My thinking goes something like this, “If I have that new zucchini spiralizer from here, I will finally get my family to eat more vegetables!
I love these white potluck casserole dishes. I bought a few of these as separates after Christmas. I love the flexibility of the sizes for appetizers, side dishes and a full on pasta dishes. I may not be a good cook, but these casserole dishes will make for a prettier presentation.
I found these cute sandwich shaped plates a few years ago and I didn’t purchase them. I have regretted that decision because these are so fun! And, I actually have the same breakfast almost every single day. I checked for these plates online and in the store frequently all the time! I am so excited Crate & Barrel has these plates back in stock.
How cool are these magnet measuring spoons for under $8.00? These would make a fun hostess gift for all the holiday parties in the next few months!
With the open shelving trends I need to up my game for nesting bowls. Check out these bright nesting bowls at Crate & Barrel. LINK
Finally… who isn’t in love with the classic Le Creuset casserole dishes. The burnt orange might clash with my kitchen, but it is perfect for the soups of fall.
What are your kitchen crushes this fall?
