You know when you find what looks like an amazing deal online? But you are not really sure if it’s a deal or a dud until it arrives. Well, in my case I doubled the risk when I ordered two wood signs from one of my favorite online shopping sites for décor and crafts. I admit this site is addictive and sometimes I just need to take a break. They get ya because their pricing is budget friendly and their shipping is a flat rate. So I clicked buy and kind of forgot about the sign.
Until one late August afternoon, waiting for me on my porch, was a rectangular box… it was heavier than I expected. This is always a good sign because heavy tends to mean sturdier. I started to get excited…
I unwrapped it and smiled… it was made of wood (or maybe particle board, but close enough), the colors were bright, but not Crayola bright and my new favorite sign was larger than I remembered. I fell in love with my new fall sign right then and right there. It was easy.. I had a dozen places I could put it. That’s like online magic when you receive an item and have more than one perfect spot to place it.
My family loved it too! Always nice to get that feedback. For now it is in my kitchen on my freshly painted walls! In fact when I took this photo my family room in the background was days away from new paint. You can see the contrast between the Revere Pewter in the kitchen and the darker family room colors.
Oh- the best part I have a second sign for Thanksgiving. What’s your most recent online shopping find that was a total score?
