Ahhh… the weekends when we get a chance to reboot. When I am working with clients finding houses sometimes my weekends begin on a Saturday evening versus Friday. Whatever day kicks off your weekend it’s always nice to get a little more sleep or wear pajamas until noon. This weekend I am in my second week of my new Week-Ends series of favorite finds across the internet sphere. This weekends post is about vertical spaces.
These days our bedroom staple is the ironing board. Nothing says relaxing like an ironing board in the middle of the room. Needless to say, our room needs a makeover. So when I read this article on paint colors I was more inspired by the wall prints than the paint color on the walls. I need inexpensive ways to fill the vertical space on my bedroom walls.
And, as always I am open to suggestions on inexpensive ways to fill the vertical space. These two side- by-side prints calm me. So much more relaxing than the ironing board with four pairs of khakis and a sweatshirt.
One of my favorite quick reads this week was ways to organize vertically. I struggle with this because to me my vertical containers just look like I am stacking a bunch of crap vertically.
On a side note, Decor Steals is offering free shipping this weekend only on these accessories.
OMG, I love how the family dog’s bed is incorporated into the vertical cabinets and vertically stacked washer and dryer. Love it! And, the fact I found it at one of my favorite websites was just another reason to grab another coffee. How cute is that dog. My Bernese Mountain dog would struggle to get in that space.
Oh and here is another project of Roeshel’s pantry. I remember when Roeshel posted this project.
I can’t believe it was three years ago.
This last find is about prepping or maintaining your home’s space (vertical and horizontal) to maximize your investment when you decide to move. As a real estate agent, I know this is the time of year many buyers get their homes prepped to sell. I found this small list of home updates that make sense, regardless of if you are selling now or later.
On the theme of vertical spaces or rising up read this about a Dallas community call to action. Rise up!
Have a great weekend!
