One of my favorite things about Colorado is we our a dog friendly state. We have mountains to hike and snow drifts to tackle. We have dog parks across the city when dogs need a little more of a workout. As members of our family, Tanner and Chloe deserve a batch of homemade dog bones.
HOMEMADE DOG BONES | DETAILS
These four ingredient homemade dog bones are prepared just like any other dough. I used chunky peanut butter and you could just as easily substitute with an organic peanut butter. The batter is thick and a little sticky.
I roll the dough on a (wheat) floured surface and found a dog bone shaped cookie cutter here. In hindsight, I should have ordered a smaller shaped dog bone cookie cutter because my dogs inhale these bones like kibble. I prefer the dog bones on the thick side.
Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 20 minutes.
