Hi everyone! This post is about the ongoing transformation of my living room hutch. Collective eye roll from my family. Ironically, I don’t think anyone in my family noticed the living room hutch. I am on hutch 3.0 at our house. Here is what Hutch 2.0 looked like after I painted the exterior of the hutch but before I painted the interior hutch 3.0. Stay with me! It’s a fun sneak peek of the painted Hutch 3.0.
I loved the Kendall Charcoal grey on the exterior and kept the inside a creamy white. But when it came to the fun part of staging, my accessories got lost inside the hutch. And, I don’t have a photo of the 1/2 gray and 1/2 white because this is the last photo before my camera died. But, this photos illustrated that the light gray walls and white interior hutch were just too bland.
So with a 1/2 gallon of paint in the hall closet and a new camera on order, I finished my vision for Hutch 3.0. Here is a sneak peek of a Sunday night decision to paint the hutch one more time. I painted the interior (and the glass shelves) to match the exterior.
I grabbed a stack of white dishes to see what it looked like against the Kendall Charcoal. Love at first stack!
