Organizing the gift wrap calms me like a quick run without the sweat.
It’s the little things that make me happy and organizing products give me hope. Hope of a future where all items have designated spots: where objects borrowed are returned to their “station.”So it surprises people when I admit until a few years ago I wasn’t a fan of the Container Store. I guess I thought everything I needed was at Target or other big box stores AND for lower prices. This last thought might be true, but the Container Store presents solutions to those nagging organizing issues that sneak into my mind at the most inconvenient times: like when I miss an exit because I was thinking about how to best store my envelopes. But it was ultimately a coupon that got me in the doors of the Container Store. Bright lights and boxes for everything! “I think I finally found my Hallelujah…..”
So I gave myself an early Christmas gift this year. I actually do it every year, but the Container Store gift wrap organizer was justified since we were heading into the holiday gift wrapping craze! Details are here
I installed the gift wrap organizer (with a drill) to hand on the back of a closet door. I believe there is an option to just hang it over the door, but I didn’t want it showing on the outside of the closet door. Does that make sense? I love this solution. I wish I had taken a picture of the before! The baskets are sold separately so you can adjust the sizes to your needs. I actually labeled the tape dispenser so there would be no confusion as to where it belongs. I am that mom! Do not mess with my tape dispenser!
This gift wrap organizer calms me.
