I have a love hate relationship with plants. I love the ease of this variety of fake plants: no sun, no water, no maintenance! What’s not to love? Well apparently the dust. Until this year I loved these reliable plastic plants until I noticed the dust; lots of dust. And, the fakeness started to bug me. And I can usually tolerate a lot of fakeness! I made the decision to replace artificial plants with real plants. My plant movement began when I found this special buy of the day HERE . This is the purchase where I made the jump and cleared out almost all my artificial plants and slowly replaced with the living type. I may be imagining this but I can feel their chemical photosynethesis reactions working the room.
I love this image of a fern in my kitchen. Ferns can’t handle much Colorado sun so I moved it to a north facing window.
Turns out size doesn’t matter for plants. There is a place for plants of all sizes. I shared this fun upcycle planter idea for this berry plant HERE.
Share your favorite houseplants in the comments please! I need suggestions for raising successful herbs. Everyone says herbs are fail proof! At my house herbs are facing pending doom!
