Tonight is one of those nights I am incapable of writing a complete sentence! I am sooo tired from .. sitting in traffic for an hour thinking about EVERYTHING I need to get done during the holidays. And, still saying a quick prayer that everyone is okay in the fender bender ahead (they were).
So here is the post I mapped out in my head tonight on the way home. It is a timely idea since it is prime cookie baking season.
I just noticed the first word that jumps out at me from this photo: CALM. It’s a sign from the Cookie Monster? Maybe?
Here is how I try to manage the frosting supplies. You know, the tips, the cupplers (are they called cupplers- I sure hope that is not some inappropriate word – or is cuppler a plumbing term)? Anyway…I wanted a fun way to corral all my frosting tips. So I used small mason jars and sheets of stationery from Michael’s to make them stand out in my over-stuffed pantry!
Mason jars are great to store frosting colors and cupcake wrappers because they have tights lids, glass interiors (easy to clean up if there is a spill) and to keep the contents air tight! No spills inside my pantry and no smooshed cupcake wrappers.
What do you think? It didn’t take much time and it was so easy. Michael’s has lots of fun stationery for organizing. Look at what I made to organize my cleaning supplies for my dogs.

This is so much prettier than the Ziploc bags I have my “frosting stuff” stored in right now!
Great ideas throughout here. My frosting/decorating section used to be crazy out of hand but I found one of those multi layer/separated containers that have been doing a ok job. I love putting the cupcake liners in a mason jar, great idea!
Oh how much I need help with storage solutions. I am dying with a house full of Christmas this and Christmas that. I have all of my cake decorating goodies out and ready to do a gingerbread house (when I get to it that is) I think I will go up and snag those mason jars I have been saving and put them to use. Thanks! I needed that. Inspired again (and trying to get organized too) thanks to you.
Thank you.
