Hi there- I am a cork dork these days! I found a package of cork circles at Ikea a few months ago. I had no idea what I was going to do with the cork, but this has never stopped me from making a purchase! I was on a mission to find a few cork décor ideas. I recently used cork from wine bottles to “chunk up” my glass vases:
Here’s a few more ways to use cork in your décor. It’s cheap and easy. Here is an inexpensive way to add color to a child’s room without having to paint. A good friend of mine originally gave me this idea when I was on a tight budget to add a little bling to my son’s room. This idea works well in a rental property or for someone who is hesitant to add a bright color to four walls!
Not crazy about cork, well this cork square purchased in a package of 4 or 5 at Target (in the stationery aisles) makes an inexpensive template tool
I used my cork circles from Ikea to place under potted plants, to attach under trays to keep the table from getting scratched (well, it’s going to get scratched but not because of the tray).
For spring I had fun adding moss to my cork circles and a few eggs:
