I grabbed this book, The Betty Crocker Halloween Cookbook, when I saw it on display at our local library. I love flipping through cookbooks at the end of the day with my stack of Post it Notes to flag my favorites. I will admit that I gravitated towards this S’more Shakes recipe because I had all of the ingredients! Yes! Even, fresh marshmallows! When does that ever happen?! And, I knew my boys would love a quick “blog dessert” after the “photo shoot.”
I used 8 ounce canning jars for this recipe so I adjusted the measurements for the ingredients. These can be served easily in bulk for kid parties or after an unseasonably warm afternoon.
Print HERE for the recipe.
Or see directions below:
1. Broil marshmallows for 1-2 minutes until toasted.
2. In blender, place ice cream, chocolate milk and graham crackers (or crumbs) and blend until smooth
3. Crumble remaining graham cracker crumbs into shot glasses. I used jelly jars!
Pour ice cream mixture over crumbs and top with toasted marshmallow(s)

I am thinking these would be especially perfect with a flavored “secret ingredient” like vanilla vodka. Or Bailey’s. But then you couldn’t serve them to kids, of course.
