This post should come with a warning… reading this Halloween Donut Roundup post may increase obsessive thoughts of donuts and subsequent donut runs! I set the bar fairly low in the blog universe with my creativity. The donuts for this roundup are not Krispy Kreme or Lamar Donuts. Oh no, these Halloween donuts are made with the Hostess donuts. I typically turn my nose up at these pre-packaged, preservative packed donuts, but dang if these chocolate and powdered sugar donuts are not the best! Brings me back to middle school when I could buy the 5 pack of donuts before class. And, polish them off before the warning bell.
Oh… those early habits start early and the weight gain from middle school is still present ….. 30 years later.
Yes, I am older than many of you reading this post. Pass me a bag of Hostess donuts…. I mean donettes!
