Welcome to the Weekend Spotlight! This week I am sharing a few photos from our Spring Break in California. We celebrated Easter, Spring Break and attended college tours for my son! Emotional, exhausting and lots of statistics oh and traffic! My daughter flew out from her college for Easter Weekend so we were all together for Easter. We attended mass in a tent (the overflow). It was better than the gym! The Franciscan priest wore flip flops- only in California! Oh.. did I mention this is the weather we left in Colorado:

Of course, this little one was not psyched when the suitcases were pulled out the night before our flight.

We flew to California where the temps were a little warmer:

We toured Chapman, University of San Diego and Loyola-Marymount on this trip! Strong academic schools and gorgeous campuses! My son is in love with any school with an ocean view! His sister is at a Midwest university so the contrasts are significant!

Some things never change. My boys can’t stay awake in a car for more than three minutes! I posted this photo on Facebook and Instagram!

We did the fire pit and s’mores the end of the evening! One of the funniest conversations I overheard at the pool was two women from Great Britain having a conversation about s’mores! One woman was explaining to the other the ingredients. Everything sounds better with an accent!
