Garanimal Inspired Cleaning Labels for Boys!

puppycleaner1

Hi everyone-  As many of you know we have a new puppy which means accidents. I love Natures Miracle at Petsmart. Apparently the vinegar based solution is what neutralizes odor (not fancy lavender  perfumes). I buy it in bulk and  make it as easy as possible for my {first} husband and children to easily identify [Read more...]

2 Minute Tips on Tuesday {even though it’s Wednesday}

pinchtip1

The story of my life is written in my calendar and to-do list.  Some days the only item I cross off my list is “shower.”   Organizational experts suggest breaking down tasks into  smaller ones. The idea being that if you {meaning myself} can break it down, an individual {me}  will obviously not feel so overwhelmed.  Okay, [Read more...]

DIY Wicker Chair Update

wicker compare

Our front porch faces south and in Colorado that  means sun, sun and more sun.  So wicker furniture gets weathered very quickly.  Kinda like our skin without sunscreen! I have seen other blog projects on spray painting wicker. I was a little skeptical because there are so many details in anything with the word wicker. It’s [Read more...]

Quick Vinyl Solution

blue tape transfer paper 2

Just wanted to share a quick vinyl solution when you find yourself out of transfer paper. This is what worked for me! I use blue painter’s tape in  a pinch!  Simply tear off what you need (you can layer it if your piece is wide).  Make sure to reduce/remove  the blue tape’s adhesive by adhering the tape to other [Read more...]

This is a fun interactive tool I found over at Home Goods. I don’t remember why I was snooping around on the  HomeGoods webpage, but alas I found the “Customer Finds”  HERE.  Alas?  Oh my, Downton Abbey is rubbing off on my vocabulary!   So while I was over on HomeGoods I uploaded this find [Read more...]

Pottery Barn Knockoff Place Settings at World Market

source: worldmarket.com

This fall I invested in new dishes. This was a bit of commitment since I am a bit of a dish whore! I just love different colors for each season. I love plates of different colors and plates for different holidays.  But, after a few years  months, the plates get chipped and start looking tired [Read more...]

Seasonal Decor with Tape… All Year Round!

plate tape 4

At a tag sale last summer I snagged a 1/2 dozen small serving platters.   They are great “neutrals” in my addiction to plates! The thing with neutrals is they can get a little bland. Or, in the case of my white serving dishes,  a little pasty! Like my thighs this time of year! So, if [Read more...]

DIY Wreath: Let it Snow

With much of the country in sub-zero temps, I thought this was a great time to show off my DIY wreath.  All supplies were on clearance  at Michaels.  I grabbed the blue because it reminds me of snow in January! I have it on my pantry door to give it a pop of color!  Click  HERE       to [Read more...]

A few More Uses for Rubberbands.. from my Dad!

more uses for rubberbands

Recently I curated a board for HOMETALK on the creative uses for rubber bands.  See the original post and link to HOMETALK HERE.  Since publishing that board I came up with a few more uses. One of the suggestions is originally from my dad.  His generation created the idea of upcycling! Of course, it was [Read more...]
