Pottery Barn Knockoff Bathroom Vanity

 

Imagine my surprise when I went searching for this Pottery Barn knockoff  post only to realize I never wrote it. I have all the photos ready to go and apparently I never got around to sharing my Pottery Barn Knockoff Bathroom Vanity. This is only the coolest thing we did when we gutted our basement bathroom last fall. Here’s the finished photo of the bathroom. What this photo doesn’t show is the bathroom vanity we and by we I mean my {first} husband created. I was the project manager for this Pottery Barn knockoff and he was the contractor.

Here was the vanity before the bathroom remodel project. Notice the brown shade of paint. The bathroom pr0ject started with the my decision to just paint the bathroom.

Here was my inspiration for our new vanity at Pottery Barn.  The price tag for this Abbott single sinkwas $1899.With a project running long and patience wearing thin took a closer look at the image below. I actually tore it out of the catalog. And it was then {first} husband suggested he could build it for a fraction of the cost.  Game on!

 

We matched the dimensions of the knockoff to the dimensions to standard vanities. Measurements: Shelves were 1×4  Legs 4×4’s the bottom shelf  slats were 2.6. All building materials purchased at Home Depot. Scroll down to the  pinnable  product list.

 

After evaluating the sink options we decided to go with a solid surface counter with built in sink we found at Lowes. It was under $250.00. I am thrilled with the outcome.

 

We added an plumbing pipe towel bar to match the shower bar
