Recycle Garbage Can Makeover

After my garage cleanup a few weeks ago I wanted to pretty up the recycle can.  We take recycling seriously around our house.  Actually, one of us takes recycling seriously.  My {first} husband is slightly embarrassed by this project.  Take a look at the before & after  garbage can makeover for this 2 Minute Tuesday and judge for yourself.  As you can see the cans, bottles and boxes stack up quickly:

 

I have a pint of a neon green paint. I hope this isn’t too bright for the recycling pickup guys?  The bright color is a daily reminder to my family to recycle! And, this fun little vinyl is perfect to catch the attention of the recycling truck (separate from our regular garbage service).
