Hi there- I’ve got less than a month before daughter arrives home for Easter so I am literally throwing stuff in drawers, trying to get some spring décor crafts together and hauling bags of “someone else’s treasures to dust” to Goodwill. Yikes! But, I wanted to share my easy, new way to clean my son’s lunch box for this week’s 2 Minute Tuesday!
In fact, I can’t believe I didn’t do this ten years ago. Typically Friday is the day I dump the lunch boxes in the sink and pray that the bleach I add to the soapy solution doesn’t absorb into their pb&j sandwiches on Monday. So far so good. And, then the other day, with a 1/2 filled dishwasher (gasp!), it occurred to me placing the lunchboxes on top would be sooo much easier than taking up valuable space in the sink- on a Friday and the extra time saved could be used to search Pinterest finish projects before daughter arrives home! I already use the top rack for my boys’ baseball caps, but it never occurred to me to add the lunch boxes! Thanks for reading this week’s 2 Minute Tuesday: Lunch Box Cleanup

Great idea! My daughter has a fabric one (Vera Bradley) that I do put through the wash occasionally!
